18th bday?=)

i donno wad to post..i donno wad to say..lol

i would juz say..its a wonderful bday..
n thanx everyoneeeeeeeeee...=)

i was actually out since fri evening..attending kate's farewell "party"..then stay over joleen place..then sat..afternoon went to coll for exam..come back go yf..then went for dinner..n stay in joleen place again..but it wasnt planned..juz some last min stuff..sort of..haha..come home to take xtra clothes then go back to her place..till last nite i sleep back in my own house..xD

wad i did on my bday..
morn = church
noon = lunch with parents n go round around subang looking for houses till evening..
eve = vball
nite = dinner with joleen

on da 14th..
thanx to my classmates..
xpecially ling n ying..thanx for da cake..=)
but sad la u all didnt get to eat da cake..rushing for exam..haha..

college term 1

its almost d end of term 1..
this is a late update cos was waiting for pics..

so my last applied tech kitchen class..we learn to turn vegs..xpecially potatoes n carrots..my turning damn cacat lo..xD

then come to thurs..which is my last kitchen prac class..
we need to turn vegs again as wadever we did during da applied tech donno go where..
this time..my turning not so bad d..got improvement la..=p..
but this time not only potatoes n carrots..but also pumpkin..wth..white raddish n shallots..
besides turning we also learn glazing..turning da vegs to either "white" or brown..haha..don bother asking..i donno how to xplain..=p

dish of da day is mashed potatoes..=D..not bad la..but not enough salt wor..
chef was like.."y..salt very xpensive zit?"..haha..
i think i got quite an okay marks for all my dishes..=)

besides..it was jia yen(1 of my classmate) last day..=(..


as for my last pastry class..we did..some sort of tart..but not like those small small one la..we make da crust like a cake liddat one..mayb u can call it a pie also..i donno..

2 kinds..apple n fruit..but da fruit one ofcos looks nicer lor cos of da colours..apple one look so ugly..xD..n my group did da apple one..
took so long to finish it lo..class extended for 1 hour 15 mins if im not wrong n we have 15 mins break till da next class..-.-"

slowly slice n make it in to smaller piece..
i cut my finger when imma slice da last part..damn smart..starting don kena..done d only kena..
anyway..we sort of boil it with sugar till it turn brown..

oh..its also da time where most of us bcame tikus..curi makan..=p








when da crust is done..


put da apple dat we boil with sugar as da base..
then put apple on top..


then put icing sugar..n bake again..


after 2nd round of baking..put da i donno wad u call it d..on top to make it more shiny..

as for da fruit one is..
bake d..then put da cream..pastry cream or custard im not sure..then only put da fruit on top..

n now..my last restaurant prac class..is to serve ppl..
