Cruise Journey 4/9

Officially 4 months!

It was the last round that travels back home..

Usd rate getting lower..yikes..pls,go back up lol

More interesting ports like Japan Korea n hk!

Did my evaluation jor..just 3/5..chiu..tot can get higher haha, but Okla, good enough..

New work place is crazy, ofcos dealing with passengers is different, but that's the point of going back to operations, get to meet n see things..

Time to receive some tips!

One colleague was so kind, thanks to her I got a tip, like she asked me to serve the person cos she know he gives, not much but still..if me I sendiri makan lor lol

Never fail to feel seasick each month, but here not too bad, mayb cos it's in the middle of the ship..

Got new supervisor, things r diff now =\

Stupid whatsapp need to update, 50+mb ah! And can't download finish also, kept retrying..there goes my data..end up go home only update, chis

Off at ko samui n it was so wasted..prob of traveling alone..I'm so not a traveller..

Wasted 2 hours traveling back n forth to Chaweng beach..reach there c c nth then terus balik, n I didn't take note of where I was from, ended up giving 10usd tip to the fella that helped me wtc, calculate wrongly, 20 bath like too little 100 like too much but no think usd10 is much more, wanted to give 5, but o well..I could have not b able to go back to ship if it wasn't for him lol

Met a Singaporean family n he handed me a salvation book..and end of cruise he gave me a stack of the book both chinese n english version n 2 cd from him..erm, what shud I do with these? Lol

My contract got shortened 5 days..7sept now..just that 5 dayssss..

Requested to learn guitar, let's see if I'm able to..time time time..

And I finally started gym..I think I lose 4kg d, let's see with gym, what progress will I make..

Went to hk Disney land! Crew tour..half day, and half price, not too bad ba..

Cooling weather, I like..grizzly ride under maintenance chiu..

The coaster in dark was the best then hehe




So far, spent most money in hk..hk stuff so ex lerrrr aiks..

Didn't req for off but when got to know got tour, I was allowed to go..by the grace of God!

I wanna go on a hop on n off bus next timeeee!

Went out at midnight too, spend 1hour walking just to find friends that was waiting for us earlier..adui..hou choi cooling weather..and ate some snacks..heheh

Guess what? I finally sold the watch that was stucked with me! At a pretty good price I would say so..although tak untung, at least I know I won't get that price back on land..

I also feel that people are nice to me..quite 'sek' me..mayb I'm worth to be treated good haha..

Being a Malaysian on board, macam so proud..really..cause u can speak and understand several languages..n whenever ppl tot or say I'm from China, I'm like please, I'm Malaysian..Malaysian Chinese, not from China..like damn lan si lor lol..

Say till like China not good..I don't mean that..

But pls don't compare me with them lor..my English is too good and my chinese is too teruk compared to them ok haha

Oh, did I mention my contract got extended? 5 days, back to original date lol..lame

Cruise Journey 3/9

3rd month is over, means soon I'll be evaluated..

Highlight of the month?

It's Chinese New Year! And? I was sick and got isolated wtc lol for bout 3 days..

Felt bad for the team..

And I watched like 6 movies? Catching up on movies that I missed lol

Things got tough at work, ofcos there's some dissatisfaction but it's all good after that..sometimes I just don't und, I need things to be logical, or at least make some sense..

And I freakingly spilled orange juice! I felt so badddd! Perhaps I wasn't feeling well so missed q hehehe

Went to be translator for tour at Phu my, Vietnam, english to Chinese, kill me..my mandarin level is not so high ok, and materials given out r all in chinese! I can't read!!

But thank God for my room mate, I took some pin yin from her lol..helped a little for my translation..

Seriously, like those post office, war museum etc, words that we don't normally use..o Lord..need passenger help me summore, paiseh dou..

But Thank God my tour guide was so considerate heheh

Most of my off i off at Klang, fine by me hehe, I don't think anyone wants to off there anyway..n it seems like I'm bringing more stuff over -.-

I only have one luggage no hand carry also..n I got extra uniforms to bring home!

Got to meet Chung at Penang too..

Quite a lot of things happen this month..

Carlos did my evaluation, ofcos good comments =p and suggest to go to passenger area..yay but nay at the same time..getting comfortable with where I am..

And yup have been transfer to the lobby area..lounge..time to get hands on with beverage..like again, my weak point..aik..but gimme some time, by this coming month, will try to familiarize with most of the thing..

One thing, tray n my wrist..hmm

After working there at the lounge, ppl say I slim jorrr yay haha but I always say, mayb it's just the uniform..

Ofcos la, walk so much n carry so much..

Having difficulty remembering passengers! Some rem face but not name, some know who they r after they order but can't remember face..some rem name but can't remember face n drink..

This place is so fast paced..most of the time..not as chill as officers..

Ppl r so flirty here lol..

Got a gift for valentines but I have no idea who!

Was on the phone with him n he mention his name, now I also forgot jor, I have no idea who, mayb I see face know kua, but donno also..and he's no longer in the ship, it'll always b a mystery lol

Sunday worship getting lesser n lesser people jor..thinking to learn guitar n play if got chance when I get better..but guitar leh? Got extra ma? Willing to teach ma? Got time to teach n learn ma? Can commit every Sunday ma? Unless I finish work at 10 or 10.30 every Sunday hehhe..I believe God will open a way for me..

Well 3rd month, doesn't feel as bad as 1st month..

So far I think I had 2 really down/bad moments..first was the first month where I was thinking what did I get myself into..but really I think it's all cos of the shoeeee! I was so in pain that even when I'm on my bed, to sleep, it hurt so badly..

And the 2nd time when I was isolated, one of the day, I don't know why..felt uncomfortable I think..

But it's all over now..

How blessed I am so far? That I can think of for now hehe

1. To have a nice roomie..

2. Roomie 1 to loan me panty hose as I didn't have black one

3. Roomie 2 loan me her shoe before she move cabin

4. If I hadn't bought the white shoe n know they have a black one, I wouldn't be able to shop so quickly n buy a comfortable black shoe, the same one lol

5. Cabin for 3 is bigger than 2, and most of the time it's just 2 of us, more space n less sharing! Only recently another girl req to change cabin n now there's 3 of us..

6. Receiving compliments and being in favor by superiors (at least I think so)

7. To notice there's Sunday service and participate

And I believe there will be more to come..

Cruise Journey 2/9

2nd month..

Got few new port, like Bali! But no chance for me to go..but heard it's expensive, so nvm ba..lol

Roomie went n had almost 100dollar seafood for 3 pax I think..sotz..

So far been to Muara (Brunei), Penang, port Klang, langkawi..phuket, Bangkok..

Ok lahh hehe..go out also donno do what, besides hunt for food, and massage at Thai..hehe

Thai massage really challenge my flexibility lol..

U know what's lame? Dining in an Indian restaurant for thai food =|

Phuket beach, so clear..and my ship there too..hehe

at langkawi~

Macam a lot drama recently..ppl expressing dissatisfaction n rebelling in a way..

Not affected in any way, well, I'm a peaceful kid ma..can work and accommodate almost anyone hehe

Was told that I got compliment from the HGM heheh..glory to God! Not sure what I did, but yeah =) but heard that she's gonna go on vacation soon, hopefully I'll be able to leave more good impression to whoever else..hehe

And later on got compliment from fnb director! But he'll be leaving in a month or so also..

Being a Malaysian on board..when ppl see me, some ppl thinks I'm from China..speak to me in chinese..when they see my name tag from Msia, they tot I can't speak chinese..hmmm

But some ppl do notice I'm diff (considering I'm coming from China)..better 'quality' kua =p kidding

And ppl know me n my name, but I can't remember people =|

Here u know, Msia tag line works, ppl kept saying 'malaysia truly asia' lolll

Asst matre'D taught us how to make the best cappuccino lol..

The next day I make for him, of all times, it fail this time wtc..

Tried again following day, success! Haha

The thing bout working on ship is, ur team always change, whether it's transfer or ppl finish their contract..as much as u got comfortable, it's time to adapt again..

Went to the open deck, so windy so nice..

N went to 16th floor too, bball court! Played a while..hehe


Colleague at some kind of appreciation dinner or sth, and roomie behind me..

My feet..more like ankle part..pain when..I don't use it -.-

Hurt when I get up from sleep n sitting down..zzz

N my right toe is still in the semi numb mode..

May my body be healed..completely!

Cruise Journey 1/9

So, have left home on 30th nov n get on board on 1st dec

A very rushed notice and many things to get done..was in doubt but finally made up my mind to go for it..

Damn lame, my luggage handle is broken! Gahh..can't pull up..so tried to fix it when I reach the hotel..but nope, better but not fixed..

Went n meet with Eunice and Andrew at night when im at Singapore..


First month, as most ppl said, it's gonna be difficult, I tot I could be different, but nope, felt horrible..ok la, not that horrible..it's bad cos of my shoe that hurt my leg so badly..otherwise it's not that bad..

Was late twice n got lectured..like seriously, when I'm not used to being late, and I'm late here..ish..one is due to time forward, another set alarm to pm..sienz

Infact, I'm pretty blessed in a way actually..

Got Nice roomie, one loan me panty hose n one loan me shoe..after bout 2 weeks of suffering..thank God for her shoe! Although it's too big, but so much better! At least work properly..was almost limping d..and after that finally manage to pop by Klang for a quick shopping for a new shoe..bought same shoe as my white shoe..hehe

got upper bed but one mate change cabin so now got lower bed, yay! No need climb up n down..

Skins r getting dry, getting minor cuts here n there, but no big deal..

More port Klang stops to come, once a month at least..

Manage to go home once n bring unnecessary stuff back..n brought some stuff over too

On board not too long, noticed there's Sunday worship..

Attended Sunday service, most or all of them are Philipinos n I'm the only girl..hmm

Started off serving crew, then officers, tot that it's quite a good opportunity actually, getting to know the officers..hehe

Seasick few times, first time was bad..the whole team was downnnn..slowly getting use to it, unless the sea is super rough..

Been eating pretty healthily I think..less carbo at least..recently curi makan a lot desserts..time to controllll..need to lose some weight yo..

My sod..aik..Bad at directions..not familiar with the cruise still..slowly slowly getting there hopefully..

Decided to buy Internet card as I was IPM, but ok la 220mb, Im gonna use it slowly, till my contract over hahaha..damn Kiam me..

May following months be good to me..

It's time to cruise

lots of things running in past 2 weeks.

Best show so far, system and lightning was so much better compared to the last time, and the atmosphere/crowd is so much better as well heheh
