Always support you, give you advise but doesn't push it, encourages you in times of sadness.

My definition of a good friend is just someone who does nice things for you once in a while and doesn't expect anything back.

best friend.. uh.. be there for you when you want it.. at a moment's notice.. that's what i did..and must be willing to sit there and just accompany you when you need it.. even if you two just sit there and stone..

A friend is a good friend if you can bag the crap out of them all the time and use them whenever you like.lol

my definition of a best friend, it is the same as what some of the guys have already said. A best friend is someone who is happy to help you, yet expects nothing in return. Also, a best friend is someone who is just as happy to go through bad times with you, as well as good times. Even though your best friend won't always be there to help you, he/she will always try their best, no matter what.

A good friend to me is one who is very understanding... one whom I can share secrets with, one whom I feel comfortable with, one who criticizes me (in a nice manner lol), and one who treasures friendship.
